With hardwood floor in the house, one needs to be careful with the termite infestation. Termites can small creatures which can create health related problems for human beings.
People realize the termite infestation quite late in their houses. Usually it comes to notice when the wooden floor has been damaged with no scope left for repairing. Termites spoil the floor by constantly eating the wood. Once the termite has infested the wood floor it gets very difficult to get rid of it.
To prevent termite infestation on wood floors, the basic thing that should be kept in mind is the usage of water. Water should be stored away from the floor which has wood. Also if there are any cracks they should be sealed with plastic or concrete.
