A well-known flooring company based in London, named Stuarts Industrial Flooring which was working for almost 172 years has moved into administration as it had huge losses of almost thirty three jobs. Stuarts Industrial Flooring has three active sites located at places like Loanhead in Midlothian, Tamworth in Staffordshire and Roecliffe in North Yorkshire.

KPMG hired administrators on Thursday and the terminations of around 102 employees took place in the company. Around Six employees have been kept on for assisting the authorities with the process of closing down the flooring company.

The administrator of the company, Mark Orton said that "Though our flooring business was making profits in the past, the downfall in the field of construction was creating significant losses over past few years." He further added that "As a result of present economic circumstances, the flooring business doesn't have a commercially feasible future and that is why we have taken the difficult step of winding down the business as soon as possible.

The Administrators of the company were of the opinion that Stuarts Industrial Flooring, which was founded in the year 1840 by the name Stuarts Granolithic, was one of the largest concrete flooring experts in the country of UK.
